Re: Maximum allowable lean angle prior to rolling over

Re: Maximum allowable lean angle prior to rolling over

If I went by what I feel is an unsafe limit (as in actually not knowing what angle I'm really am at) I doubt I would ever get close 20 degrees. Yeah anything can go wrong and is why I stay in a zone...

Re: Maximum allowable lean angle prior to rolling over

What was the outcome? Seems I've seen that picture in the past. It does show where an inclinometer can come in handy but doesn't resolve the problem :b7:

Re: Maximum allowable lean angle prior to rolling over

Oh, that's classic Ron especially since these things look like a accident waiting to happen on a trail. I have to laugh how many people comment about it while I'm off roading who feel it's not...

Re: Maximum allowable lean angle prior to rolling over

I've been a few situations where I didn't have a choice (going back was more dangerous) and having the data on hand can be critical. If you need to stop and build something under a section of trail...

Re: Maximum allowable lean angle prior to rolling over

They custom adjust at the factory to your specs:

I put a switch on mine so I can turn it off... once it goes off I'm in a situation and don't need a damn alarm making it more stressful. Mine...

Re: Maximum allowable lean angle prior to rolling over

I was told about 34* on a standard 2006 SMB 4X4 conversion but it also depends distribution of the top load, lower load and weight of the interior conversion. I have an audible inclinometer set to...
