IIRC I thought the kit was a joint effort by SMB & the guy (Jim) selling AMSOIL to SMB???

Don't quote me but I seem to remember during my build (SMB 4x4) where SMB claimed the reason for the twin filter system was to filter better and to move the position of the stock filter to avoid it...
