No codes no problems with mine. Talk to Adam Nation at Nations and have him look up the alternator I had them build under my name Dave Boyer. The picture I posted above was sent to me from Nations....

I asked on my 06 build but was told the Starcool took up too much room...not sure if that's true but I'm happy with my single HD system

They even make some that will put out 110AC. The problem I found was finding one that fits into the 6.0.

Just to upgrade this post, the 200A MCI alternator was damaged and I ordered a custom flat wire wound 270A version from Nations (see caringb's post) for my rig. It is the necessary small case model...

I just came across this thread. The link Mike supplied was a thread about a modified voltage regulator and was supposed to be used to highly regulate voltage to the house system, not as the primary...
