Steve, Greggde talked me into purchasing the hi-lift base. Really nice. It gives a larger footprint than the board you were using. Like 35 bucks.

Max limit for the Hi-lift X-treme is 4,660 Lbs.
The jack is TESTED to 7,000 Lbs but not rated for that, only tested. Most engineers provide a safety factor on the things they build just like a...
