I didn't read anything about SMB or any on board equipment being at fault only an improper tire repair done by Mossy Ford.

I not too sure, but anything that’s not OME could point toward a cause or partial cause of a wreck. So even the heavier duty tires and rims could be considered as something illegal in the judicial...
