Ah it is actually a second bulb or filament in the main headlight...
Tried the 2x in - out but to no avail... maybe the Chevy is too old for this or different from the Fords... Mine is a year model...

Sorry to be a bit daft on this one, but what do you mean by Daytime Running Lights? You mean the small marker/side light when on position 1 of the headlight switch?

Here in Europe as the rules are...

Aha! Victory, I seem to have got it working again, as I have the dash apart since I fitted the GPS and ScanGauge II I took the Headlight - Dimer - Dome Override unit and gave a dowsing in WD40 and...
