I have two exterior vents that allow the two house batteries to vent their explosive gases to the outside. Each vent has a small cover/grill over the opening and the gasket behind the covers are...

Battery Vent Gasket

The rope-like gadgets around my two battery exterior vents need replacing. (She's a 2006 Ford) Anyone have an idea of what material to use and/or where to get it?
