I checked my Chevy PU and in that vehicle the speedo is accurate in 4Lo. Any vehicle with an electronicly driven speedo should be able to compensate for the lo-range gearing. As could a...

It's not going to happen. The van doesn't have the software capability of knowing lo range and correcting the speedo for it.
