The max height is 21". Here's a pic of the jack under my SMB (285 tires). I should have measured the distance between the saddle and the axle tube, but IIRC it's a few inches. Might be tight...

No sweat Dave, it was BryanLaws who clued me into that one. I agree about the combination of functions. I still haven't used it, knock on wood, but it stays in the SMB.
