IMO, sanitizing a water tank is about the best possible use for vodka. Not a big fan of it.

Now give me some good beer, a good small batch bourbon, or a good single malt and I'm a happy camper in...

Me, I'm about to sanitize my tank before leaving on a trip with 16oz of cheap vodka added to a nearly full water tank.

With a reasonably short hose, or super siphon, I grab it near one end, and swing it around like a lasso. Does a really good job of removing just about all the liquid. Just be careful where you do it....

Just make sure they are completely dry first.
