I went to the CHP office to discuss upgrading my seat belts on my sideways gaucho's. I asked if I could use a booster seat with a 5 point harness, as it would be better than just a lap belt. NO! YOU...

Spurious nailed that. I forgot that the van (unlike my trucks) does not have the ability to turn off the airbag. If the gaucho is sideways, I would go to the CHP and ask.

if the gaucho is a sideways seat, I do not believe it would be legal for the car seat(may be wrong). The best seat would be a capt chair/ passengers seat. If that is the safest seat then the law...
