== Simple Override Switch == If you're wiring your auxiliary backup lights and you would like them to come on both when you're in reverse and with an override switch, the following is an elegant solution. Tap into the reverse light power under the dash and add a single pull, double throw (SPDT) switch to constant 12v electrical. Run the SP or center terminal to the auxiliary lights. Sportsmobile installs their switch in this manner. The benefit is that it is simple and effective. The problem is there is no indicator to identify that the reverse spotlights are on, which can result in operating the vehicle in traffic while the lights are on. [[Image:Reverseoverrideswitch.gif]] == Lighted Indicator Switch == Through adding a relay you can modify the SMB installed switch, a version of which is illustrated above as the _Simple Override Switch_. Though more complex, having an indicator may save the driver from operating the vehicle in traffic while the lights are on. If you're modifying the SMB installed switch only a relay and the new switch need to be added. The rest of the components should be available. [[Image:Lightedreverseswitch.gif]]
