Oakland/Bigfoot 20' Class C 4x4

We were in need of a little more room with our family growing. Thought i'd post up a couple pics i took when i pulled it out of the shop for the first time on saturday after completing the Ujoint 4x4 conversion.

We were quite interested in the Chinooks but determined that they did not offer much more sleeping room, in fact it was less than our SMB but obviously more elbow room.

Some quick specs that helped in our decision making and selecting this unit, that are unique to the Bigfoots are the a aluminum frame construction with Fibercore walls, roof, and floor all R=12 insulation, the heated and sealed holding tanks and huge underbelly storage and side ski locker/storage compartment. My wife was most excited about the shower/bath combo and i'm excited about the length and that we were able to get all the things on our wish list and still only be 1/2 longer than the van.

Huge thanks goes out to Chris at Ujoint for excellent customer service and a great product.

We'll here's a couple quick pictures.

VERY cool!

If you don't mind me prying, how big is your growing family?

And what year and engine size is the Bigfoot?

Thanks

At first I thought you were answering blupaddler's question about "...how big is your growing family?" That would have been a unique answer to bluaddler's question.

Thanks! We are currently a family of 4, a three year old and a six month old.
It's a 1995 and has a fantastic running 460 with 4:10 gears, I've been really happy with it.

Nice looking rig! That should definitely get you to the top of the mountain for some rope drops.

Inside pics when you have time...

PS that must be a rare make. I can hardly find anything about them on Google. Perfect size by the way and nice 4x4!

Thanks! i appreciate it. I'll get some interior shots and post them up in the next few day hopefully.
Ya its actually quite rare. The previous owners of bigfoot said that the 20' was produced one year only and that it is 1 of 10 built. I did not know this when i bought it but figured something was up when i could not find ANY info on them online. These 20' coaches were built for the Japanese market, so the man door was on the driver side and floor plan flipped. They said they had a number of people tour the factory when they came to pick up their 24' and saw these 20' on the production floor and said they preferred the shorter length. So from that they built approx 10 for north america. No doubt this is the only 4x4 out of the 10 i'm sure.
