Vanning and neighbours...

Hi,

Some poor friend of vans over at the Chive posted this photo.

Lousy neighbour!

Is spring here yet?

Regards,

Gavin

Re: Vanning and neighbours...

I think the neighbor should not have the van parked in front of his/her house... that's fair enough.

But then the fun begins

Why do vans creep people out? Clowns too. I don't get it. I'm much more creeped out by politicians and televangelists than vans.

Re: Vanning and neighbours...

Christine and I were camped at a musicfest... dozens of comments on the van, all very positive/flattering... along comes a group of late-20somethings... one girl sez to the girl beside her as they walk by, "I usually call 'em rape-me-vans, (pause) but I'd jump right in that one!"

We just fell about the place

Re: Vanning and neighbours...

Got pulled over by local LE after an abduction of a teen aged girl in town. He asked to look inside and was very upset to see, well, an RV. Guess they need a warrant to do that cause he yelled Oh man it's an RV. He didn't want nothin to do with me after that but I made him look anyway. I didn't need that hanging over my head if they never found the girl. Sure glad I have the big refrigerator to shove things into...just kidding.
BTW they found her in her boyfriends stock Dodge passenger van later that week having fun with him.
I was thinking how so many of our 4x4 vans look just like the standard panel vans the creeps drive. The way to do a stealthy bank job would be to pull up in a 8" lifted van that has 315 tires, big bumpers, ladders on the sides, with solar panels on a top rack. Sir did you see what the bank robbers got away in? Uh, yeah, I think it was a white van.

Re: Vanning and neighbours...

And you guys say Dodge unibody design isn't very strong! No roof and lots of room for big perverts without folding in the middle. Great testament to a great design.

;-)
