Time to say Hi! with a few photos

So here we go, this is our "official" introduction!

After years of dreaming and drooling we finally took a leap of faith and bought our first SMB, found here in the Classifieds. She is an old lady, but with a very young spirit: 1992 SMB RB21 with the good ol' 351 engine. Nothing huge to brag about, but she does the job for us, and does it well. She has been well taken care of by the previous 2 owners. Despite full time jobs we have logged over 40 nights of camping with her since we got her in September last year.
The previous owners had named her "The Mothership", and we are happy to continue calling her that.

I am attaching a few pictures. If you see us "out there", don't be shy to stop by - there is always a good supply of beers and stories...

Anette & Scott (with Anette being the one online most of the time )

Here are a few photos:

Welcome to the 'club'. Your job is to enjoy the van and our job is to alert you to all the ways you can spend money on your van.

Re: Time to say Hi! with a few photos

... thanks for the welcome! Looks like so far all of us are doing their job very well!

The official Mothership piggy bank seems to have a leak, and going to the Overland Expo didn't exactly help, either.

We have spent some money to fix little issues to make sure she doesn't leave us stranded out in the wild, and took care of the evil SMB death wobble by adding a sway bar in the rear and a custom trac bar in the front. At least we won't die rolling off the road now

I remember when this one was posted in the classifieds. Great looking rig!

Yes, that wasn't too long ago

She does look great for her age - until you open the door and see the "desert mauve" coloration of the furniture. My husband still cringes when someone makes a comment about our "pink" interior

Re: Time to say Hi! with a few photos

I have a 95 SMB and its got turquiose interior . Looking at the original listing, it looks like it has the layout that I think I really like. Can you post up some interior shots?
