XPCAMPER

Got to see one of these while camping this week in the Manistee National Forest near Lake Michigan. The couple have had it for about a year and are full timing in it. Very clean looking rig on the inside as it is on the outside. Table (could be bed) at rear, kitchen and toilet/shower mid section and bed over cab. Theirs had 450w of solar and 4 golf cart batteries. 40 gallons of water if I remember correctly. The interior though is not useable when the top is down.

My first mod would be one of these.

Re: XPCAMPER

The owners said that a handrail configured stairs was optional. Give them 10-15 years and they will want one.

Re: XPCAMPER

Do all XPCampers carry their spare tires there, or is that an XPCamper intended for a crew cab, installed on an extended cab?

Re: XPCAMPER

The XPC is a beauty!
I had many enjoyable conversations with Marc of XPC during 2009/2010 when my wife and I were contemplating an XPC build before deciding to go with our current van.

One thing we would tire of, and part of the decision, was not being able to get back to the _house_ as easily as one can do in a typical van arrangement. Also, the up/down thingy would wear on us as it did when we had our Aliner TT.

All that aside... what an amazing rig for its primary design function of getting off pavement in style.

Mine was the 1st to have that, best place if you're not running a stock wheel/tire.
