King of the Hammers Aerial Video...

Made a quick trip out to the King of the Hammers yesterday with Ramsey of Agile Off Road. Shot a little aerial video when the wind died down for a few minutes. Would have liked to get more but it was blowing most of the day.

No time to edit so here is mostly RAW footage from one flight. When I get some time I'll clean it up and add some of the photos too.

Front row parking. Could the drivers choose left or right?

Re: King of the Hammers Aerial Video...

Yes, at this point they can make the choice but eventually they have to climb the rock canyon sometime during the race. I think there were 4-5 cars stacked up at one time in the canyon all trying to make it up or past a broken car.

Ramsey could probably fill in the details. That was my first time at that event and it was a great time.

Ya, I get daily use out of mine. I may move my panels to the back as I always seem to want to be at the front of the rack.

So you'll have to step over/around the panels every time you want to stand on the rack? You sure you want to do that?

I haven't been able to get back down to KOH since 09. It's crazy to see how much it's grown since then.

Re: King of the Hammers Aerial Video...

Been debating several options, ladder behind drivers door or thinner panels along one side up top. Found some thin panels that should fit perfect along one side. May remove one of the panels as the Sterling charger has been working as designed.

Hmmm.....which one...

Re: King of the Hammers Aerial Video...

What about hinging the panels to the side of the rack? They could be in the down position when you were not up top and flip up when needed. That would give you full rack access and provide sort of a safety rail.
