Kelly Point Overlook - Grand Canyon
Quick low res pic from the trip to Kelly Point Overlook on the Grand Canyon over the last few days. Made the trip with Kelly Hearn and Tien Cao after the Overland Expo. As mentioned on here the trip was roughly 100 miles on the dirt one way with 20 or so miles of it slow going.
The last 20 miles took us approx 7 hours.
Good times and more pics coming soon.
Good times....

Brent
when I filled up my average on fuel for that part of the trip was 11 MPG.
What a awesome trip and glad that Brent set the ball rolling.

Re: Kelly Point Overlook - Grand Canyon
That's the exact spot I was at. Awesome that you made it out there, but at 7 hours for the last 20 miles, either you are way more cautious than I, the trail was in way worse condition, or I'm an idiot and drive too fast.
Can't wait to see the rest of the pictures.

Re: Kelly Point Overlook - Grand Canyon
That is about as remote as you can get on the AZ strip. Great way to finish of the Expo. Much better than hanging around Flagstaff where ash is falling from the sky.
