Somewhere in Northwest Washington?

I was looking at taking the SMB out here soon and enjoy a few days away. Anyone have ideas on places to go 2WD near Northwest Washington? I'd love to find some BLM or some off the beaten path service roads. Thoughts?

Re: Somewhere in Northwest Washington?

We sometimes go for a quick overnight getaway to the Cabin Creek SnoPark just east of Snoqualmie Pass. There's a nice spot south of I-90 by the river, the only downside is that it's under the power lines but the river drowns out the buzz from the lines.

A little further away are several nice boondocking sites past Roslyn. Take the dirt road for a few miles beyond the the Salmon La Sac campground. We had a great spot there for our very first night out in our new SMB in June. Had a beautiful view of snowcapped peaks and waterfall.
