On the way to the Far North, the journey made VivaLaVida cross Alberta. Here are some pictures taken along the way in last June.

7. Mistaya Canyon under strong rain.

8. Another encounter during a long hike : my first meet with a black bear into the wild.
I saw him getting out of the forest to a meadow. He was about 300 yards away. He saw me, then continued to eat some grass and flowers. I decided to sit down and wait and after about half an hour, he was only 25 feet away, still eating. What a great meet!
