Gravelly Range Road Montana - Anyone done this?

I've wanted to do this road for quite sometime and am finally heading down in the next few weeks. Wanted to know if anyone has done this route yet? If so, looking for any insight, suggested time frame to cover it and still enjoy it, or and preferred camp locations along the way?

Here is a report i found from advrider on that area for reference.

A lot of fun on a big adventure type motorcycle. Neat area and you should go there.

I'm in too Dave. It looks great. Let's run it next summer. I'll be coming through there on my way to Oregon.

One other comment is that the south end of all this loop when wet is a bitch. Brundage bridge becomes slick as snot as well as everything around Lima Rez. Rest of it is up north and has better soil that drains pretty well.

I'll take any info about this run I can get and I'll bet the rest of us will as well if a few of us want to do a meet up. Might be a good trail to run but we'll need some backup spots in the area in case it's a blowout. Any suggestions?

I'm planning on some biking in the area in July, including Mile-Sheep in the southern Madison Range and may drive a portion of the Gravellys. Will report back if I do.
