Re: New Mexico Trip

couple more shots..forgot to add…started out diagonal from Iowa through KS, a bit of OK, into NE corner at NM, Clayton, then south, White Sands, North of Las Cruces mandatory pull over to ask if we were U.S.citizens…dogs in the car lane my tea!…luckily we went through truck lane and got a smiley Border Agent dude…Saw Gila Cliff dwellings, City of Rocks campground, then wife picked dirt road...back way into Los Alomos rt126/502..saw lots of elk, road would be hell in rain/wet…otherwise some narrow spots, moutain hugger sections and a few drop offs to the right (heading east)…fun/sketchy road that wife would usually be a little tense…but since she picked…enjoyed it and bought herself that with the Sporty SMB…MOST things are just fine! Headed home a with stops at El Malpais (Inspiration Rock as I knew it) and then home…never enough time…I love that rig!! You too honey!

Re: New Mexico Trip

We are heading to New Mexico on June 25th. We are going to the Philmont Scout Ranch in Cimarron for a week of Boy Scout leadership training. Unfortunately we will not be taking the Sportsmobile, so no nice pictures of our rig in a beautiful setting.

Here's a nice video about Philmont. There is some gorgeous scenery on this 134,000 acre Scout ranch.
