Colorado Time??

Anyone planning to be in the CO high country in the next couple weeks?

I spent the last 9 days in the hills by myself - which was nice - but wouldn't mind meeting some new folks.

If there's interest, perhaps we should consider a meetup somewhere!

Any thoughts?

Re: Colorado Time??

We've moved on to the Tetons. We couldn't communicate much due to no cell service. Maybe next time Grumpy!

Re: Colorado Time??

Yeah... I got out 2 days later than I thought I would and then was out of cell service. I might actually wander out to TN to see friends later this summer if I am still off of work.

Re: Colorado Time??

I might be passing through and/or staying in the next week or so. I'm only being vague because my timing at the moment depends on someone else's (going to visit a friend who is helping someone else with a medical issue). I should know within a few days though.

I just came through on Hwy 24 a few days ago and it reminded me how amazing Colorado is! I was solo too, which is fine, but how much more fun to meet up with peeps.

(That said, what is considered "high country"? I came down through Leadville, Buena Vista, Salida, Durango, etc. but could take a variety of routes on the way back up. I had considered 550 but decided I would only want to do that northbound - didn't want to be on outside edge going by photos!)

I only have 2WD, so that might hinder any meetups. Anyway, I'll keep an eye on the thread.

As in, where are you hanging out? And, how long are you going to be there?

We will passing through Boulder, Co this coming Wed afternoon thru Friday morning. We will be on our way to the Grand Canyon. We are stopping in Boulder on the way to visit with friends. If you are around and want to meet up for a beer, let me know and we can figure out a time.

We live in CO, and would love to meet up if we are around. With a little notice, we'd love to meet some new folks.

Would like to, but can't make it to Boulder this week. Gonna be in the van on the road again next week somewhere...

Re: Colorado Time??

We're in Fort Collins and up for a NoCo meet up or get together some time. We might have some family related travel, but are otherwise flexible.
