Ski Resorts That Allow Overnight Parking...
Found this list. Not sure how comprehensive it is, but it's a good start at 17 so far......

Thanks for that! I don't have any to add but will keep this in mind as we are planning a week long ski trip in the van this year!

Great List!
Also SkiBowl on Mt Hood allows overnight stays, dry camping only. They ask you park in the Ski Bowl East lot. From there you can take theSkiBowl bus to the main lodge, then Fusion bus up to Timberline if you have a pass.

Willamette Pass and Mt Bachelor both have extensive cross country skiing.
On Mt Hood, the Trillium Lake trailhead is pretty big, so that's a good option for dry camping. Nearly all Snow Parks in Oregon allow overnight stays, but not all have restrooms and those that do can get snowed in completely.
This map shows the parks and activities:

Re: Ski Resorts That Allow Overnight Parking...
Cc snow parks are great but snowmobile areas can be noisy until quite late at night...

Re: Ski Resorts That Allow Overnight Parking...
I just spoke with some in the ticket office (probably not best person for the inquiry) got a big fat "no" from Sun Vally... Which was expected. I am sure there are plenty of boondock spots, but we are driving in late, in a few weeks so... 27 dollars for RV park in Bellevue will due.

Re: Ski Resorts That Allow Overnight Parking...
^^^ theres a bunch of free camping past sun valley (if your coming in through bellevue). we found some pretty neat spots just off of highway 75. some were official campgrounds, some were just spots. plus theres hotsprings close by if that interests you.
not sure if any of those spots will be accessible if we have a good snow year, but if its like it has been for the last few years, im guessing they will all be available. theres also stantons crossing right where 20 and 75 intersect. pretty neat little campground right on the big wood river. no hookups, but its free and has bathrooms.

Thanks... I've never noticed Stanton Crossing, that could be super useful rolling in late. Probably still opt for electricity and some over night heat. I've been sleeping in a 70 degree house for several years with the little one... Not sure my body would do well even in my 5 below down bag. Might have propane heat by then, but doubtful, still have to build my bed. Finally got two steps on and seat brackets removed... Finding time has been difficult.. But for good reasons
I been to Frenchmens bend hs, which is probably still accessible, are there others close to camp at?

Re: Ski Resorts That Allow Overnight Parking...
most of the camp spots we checked out were between russian john hot springs and ketchum just off of 75. roughly 15 miles past ketchum if your coming in through bellevue. so they would be a little ways away from the resort, but likely closer than bellevue. not sure if the official campgrounds have hookups or not though.
frenchmans and warlock springs are up a different road and im not sure how accessible it is during the winter months. there are quite a few "cabins" back there, so who knows if its plowed or not. we tried coming back to boise that way last sept. didnt really see any places to camp that were close though. the very few spots we saw were after all the houses and cabins. again though, not sure how far up 227 it gets plowed once the snow flies.
we love stantons crossing. theres a cool 6 toed cat that spent the last weekend we camped there hanging out in our camp, as well as most everyone elses camp, lol. we named him poly (polydactyl). other than being able to hear the highway, its a nice spot all things considered.
are you an idaho resident?
