Front brake line replacement 2002 Ford E350 Quigley

I contacted Quigley about part #s for the front brake lines because Bajasportsmobile identified they were rubbing against my shocks and being worn down.

Quigley came back to me with Raybestos part number: BH38265 for the right and BH38266 for the left.

I cross referenced those part #s and it came up as Chevy/GMC K3500 from the 80s.

I'm guessing these are longer than standard Ford E350 2wd vans brake lines.

Wondering if anyone had success replacing their front brake lines and which parts they went with.

TIA

Why not go with steel braided? Good time to make the swap since you have to replace them.

We made up some steel braided front lines for Brent's Van when the stock one broke on him. You can order pre-made line from ORW in various lengths and the other hardware you will need. They were out of the right length for his Van when we needed them so we had to make them, but otherwise I would go with the pre-made lines.

Ordered those standard replacement lines. $42 shipped for the front set from Amazon.

Braided cost 4 times more so I passed.

Re: Front brake line replacement 2002 Ford E350 Quigley

I am looking for a source to change all of my existing rubber brake lines to a high end braided in hopes that the badly done Brakeman set I ordered with our Van may show some improvement . This expensive option has never performed as one might expect and I am typically not hard on brakes . If any of you has someone knowledgable in Southern Cailifornia I would appreciate a reply .thank you in advance .
