Anyone have any experience with these?

Re: Rhino Rack?

I don't think any of those are made by Rhino, so I think there are some threads about the Foxwing, though I'm not sure anyone has used one on a van.

Most common awning brand names that might help you search:
Fiamma
ARB
CVT
Foxwing

Re: Rhino Rack?

I have looked at the CVT/ARB and Fiamma but was not aware of the Foxwing.

I noticed the 'Rhino' version is a bit smaller than the CVT.

I most recently read this thread:

Do you think all these 'bag' type awnings are made from a single manufacturer? They all look pretty similar.

Re: Rhino Rack?

Using and installing the rhino awnings, well made, easy to use, water resistant.

Yes some are done by one.

Re: Rhino Rack?

I have them on both side, the pass side being a FoxWing. The label actually says FoxWing by Rhino. I bought from eTrailer.

Re: Rhino Rack?

No more passenger side Foxwings. They are supposedly being redesigned. Indefinitely unavailable per Rhino Racks.

Give Randy at Family Tent Camping a call. This is where I bought my Oz Tent, and they import Foxwings as well. You can tell Randy that I sent you, but I don't know if it will help. I met him at ExPo West, and got a good discount with no shipping charge. Great customer service too.

Re: Rhino Rack?

Great! Thanks for all the feedback. I think I might give one a try.
