Which wheels? Atx mojave Teflon or pro comp series 7069 flat

Open to suggestions on the following two wheels that I narrowed down. User feedback, wheel strength and personal aesthetic preference or whatever opinion you may have.

Both have the same specs: 16x8, 8x6.5, 4.5" backspace, 0+. Gonna wrap them with 285/75/16 bfg AT.

Atx mojave Teflon rated for 3100# cost $160

Pro comp series 7069 flat black rated for 3450# cost $102

I say pro comp. Cheaper, higher weight limit and looks are equal. Thanks for posting because I might add them to my list when I get new tires.

The picture of the pro comp wheel looks better to me cause it looks deeper. JMO. It also looks like it would fit a hi-lift wheel adapter better but you'd probably have to look at a wheel in person to tell for sure. I noticed the pic is of a 5 lug rim.

I like the ProComps and they are cheaper, but I LOVE the first ones and they look great on SMBs! The Pro Comp ones look pretty good too on bigger, wider tires.

I would go Pro-Comp based on the weight rating alone. An EB van could easily top 6200# on the rear axle. So far I've broken 3 aluminum wheels, so I'm trying to actually run proper rated rims now.

Thanks fellas. I'm leaning towards the pro comps too. Mostly for cost and load rating but also wife likes them too. I haven't seen them on any SMB yet. Seen quite a few of the atx and they do look awesome. Love that the Teflon finish isn't quite flat nor glossy but in between much like the Aluminess bumpers.

I'll post pics once I make the final decision and have them installed. For those on the fence pro comp is offering a $50 rebate on a 4 wheel purchase. Expires soon.

I like the Mojaves. Well above my axle weight. Nice finish. Super rugged.

Re: Which wheels? Atx mojave Teflon or pro comp series 7069

im attracted to the deep dish aspect of the procomp. flat faced wheels remind of of fwd wheels. not that they look bad, cause both look great on the different vans ive seen them on, but those deep looking wheels just grab my attention. the satin black look of both are very appealing as well. load rating and price would seal the deal for me. plus i like the lower profile of the centercap of the procomps too. resembles the full float axle/locking hub look.

either way, the amount of wheels available for the high weight of these rigs is very limited. i see very few wheels im really, really attracted too. im like a girls with shoes. i love wheels. a peek into my garage would expose my sickness.

Deep dish wheels look weak to me, I worry they will bend. Have never liked deep dish, except pizza.
