Alignment Shop

Anyone know of a GOOD alignment shop in Southern California for my lifted 2013 Ford van? It has the Action Van lift on it.

I am in the Long Beach area.

Thanks,
Tony

Re: Alignment Shop

I've had good luck with bear alignment here in Colorado, I think there's one in your area

Re: Alignment Shop

Is it coil front suspension? And suspension lifted? Does that affect your front tire camber? I.e., are you getting uneven tire wear on the inside the front tire tread? There has been some heated discussion about alignment shops aligning to OEM specs rather than for the vehicle as modified. Here are some threads if you are willing to wade through them:

Of course, BajaSportsmobile is probably who you should be talking to.

In the meantime, it would be interesting if you posted a picture of the vehicle from the front and any uneven tire wear...

Re: Alignment Shop

BajaSportsmobile is Ramsey El Wardani's user name on this forum. His domain is AgileOffRoad.com Try PM'ing him through this forum. Here is his membership page:

http://sportsmobileforum.com/memberl...profile&u=6709

I am sure that he can recommend a good alignment shop for you, but if he would do it, I personally would have him do it because an alignment shop will do an alignment with the suspension you have, a suspension designer like Ramsey will tell you if the suspension you have is causing the alignment problem you have, and then re-jigger your suspension to fix your alignment problem.

Lifting a suspension can cause alignment problems. Not saying that is your problem, but almost all alignment shops make their bread and butter doing OEM spec alignments on vehicles with stock suspensions. Ramsey is leaps and bounds ahead of that.

I have not met him but I have read enough of his posts on this forum and read what he has done to help people with their Quigley 4x4 suspensions to know he is the suspension guru. I am distrusting by nature, and I have never met him, but I absolutely trust him.
