Re: STOP!!!

Sweet!

Why do the rotors in the first picture have two sets of lug holes? 8x 6.5 and 8 x 170mm?

I'm guessing one for Agile's Twin Traction Beam conversions, and one for Quigley conversions.

Re: STOP!!!

Yes, they are two different applications.

What I am working on is a BBK (Big Brake Kit) for Quigley 4x4 conversions to go with our RIP.

Quigleys require rotors purchased through them or machined by someone to their specs. They use a single piston Chevy style caliper and an ~12.25 inch rotor - many complain about the insufficient braking power in heavy vans and SMB's.

I prototyped a caliper bracket and am having it drawn up and manufactured - still waiting on costs.

It uses a nearly 14 inch rotor, 1.5 inches thick, available in standard or cross-drilled and slotted, and a Ford dual piston caliper.

It fits inside a FORD stock 16 inch steel or aluminum wheel and the two aftermarket 16 in aluminum wheels I had available.

I'm wondering what the demand would be and how much the kit (bracket, rotor, fully loaded caliper, wheel studs) could sell for.

Opinions welcome!

Re: STOP!!!

I would be interested. The rusty old beast will probably need new brakes in the near future. Thanks for the RIP kit by the way.

Re: STOP!!!

So what would you pay for the upgrade?
