Re: Samlex Solar Panels

Have a Samlex battery charger in my teardrop, but no experience with their solar gear.

Re: Samlex Solar Panels

Tom,
I added a Samlex panel to my SMB Sprinter. It was an 85 Watt polycrystaline panel and was very close to the same size as the SMB installed Zamp 95 watt monocrystaline panel. The overall construction was just as good and all of the supplied hardware was "top notch". I ran this panel in parallel with the existing Zamp through the SMB installed Zamp 30 Amp controller and everything works great and I have seen no problems or issues.
Hope this information helps.

Re: Samlex Solar Panels

I've got a Samlex solar controller but I have not installed it yet, other than playing around in the yard....seems to work fine.

Re: Samlex Solar Panels

Thanks all, for your responses. I'm thinking about getting a 135 watt system for The Van, good to hear that no one has had any bad experiences with them...
