Guys,
I have a 1995 SMB with a Trace Engineering M1512 Inverter/Charger. The van originally came with Thermoil wet cell batteries. One of them was still in there and looked like it had been there for a while!
Anyway, I replaced both wet cell house batteries with two AGM batteries. The manual for the inverter/charger says to remove a certain jumper(J15) on the circuit board if using Gel cell batteries. If the jumper should be on for wet cells and taken off for gel cells, which type of battery is closer to an AGM and should I leave the jumper on or take it off?
I know of at least one other SMB'er on here that has the same inverter/charger as me(BrianW) I think. For those that have the same inverter/charger and AGM batteries, did you remove the jumper?
Here is my inverter/charger:
Also, side question about the inverter/charger, the LED's on top of the inverter/charger stopped working after I lifted the cover once, anyone else had any issues with the LED lights on the top of this inverter/charger? It is still working normally(3 Phase charging etc...)
Thanks
