Exploring the nooks and crannys of my SMB today I came across this "26db amplifier" light up with a bright red light, located under the panel at the bottom of the penthouse front window. I suspect it's to amplify the cable TV hookup that I'll never use, but before I disconnect it and screw up something important I thought I'd better pass it by the forum experts.

Any other cables going in/out? If it was a TV amp, it would most likely have the antenna wire or a coax cable attached.

Could also be a radio booster or perhaps even a cell phone booster? More pics would help.

A quick Google search of '26db amplifier' shows it's probably a GPS signal booster. What type, etc., who knows.

can you snap a few more pics of the sides/back, etc?......especially where the various connectors connect.
