For the causal DIY mechanic the integrated versions (#302M & 304B) would be useful for loads not exceeding 20 amps. They are fuse protected just in case one exceeds that current flow, most helpful checking for parasitic draws as well as power consumption while a device is in use.

Those using DMM's would find the adapter versions (301M &303B) very helpful for the same functions although they are higher amp draw rated than most DMM's which are 10 amp max without other adapters.

Nice tools for those involved with electrical work or trouble diagnosis.

Interesting, but what I don't like is that a separate tester is required for mini, and full size ATC fuses.

The linked testers aren't for testing fuses per se, more for determining the amp draw through a fused circuit, useful to know if a device or component is drawing current in excess of its designed power consumption.

I believe the different physical sizes are necessary because the fuse slots in fuse boxes into which these tools would be inserted won't allow a one-size-fits-all tool. Looking at the portion which replaces the fuse during a test it can be seen ATM sized fuses require a different probe than ATC's & ATO's.

These tools aren't necessarily for the casual DIY maintenance guy or gal---they're semi-specialized test and diagnostic current reading tools. Not overly complex mind you but not the fail/pass type of fuse testers.
