Did a Base Line on New House Batteries

To get an idea how long we can run our refrig (110v via converter) off of our new house batteries I ran a load test. Looks like 2 1/2 days with a 75-80F days and 60-65F nights. This base line will also give us a good reference to measure battery degradation by as they age.

Re: Did a Base Line on New House Batteries

Did you just use your fridge as the load? Are you just using the 0.1V as a constant approximation on your recovery voltage, or is that something you tested as well? I don't recall if you listed in your other post, but the new batteries give you 220 AH or so, right?

Off topic - did you put a rear sway bar on your Express?

Good work!

Used my modified refrig (110v AC) with the 1000w TrippLite inverter powering if from the batteries as the load. At the 31 hour mark I ended the test. Measured to voltage on the house batteries then let them rest for 5 hours. They recovered 0.1volts after resting the 5 hours. I just off set the load curse by 0.1 volts.

Have not added sway bar to the Express. Suspension is OEM.
