Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuudge
Only I didn't say fudge. I had the van in the shop for a couple weeks--for two days worth of work--and seemed to have left the water pump on. As many of you know, it may not be running at that moment, but will, according to Murphy, be running soon. My $600 AGM 4D coach battery seems to be toast after only four years. Plus it's like a million fudging degrees here!

We're going to have to wash your mouth out with LifeBoy soap!
Man, that sucks. Guess it's time to see if equalization will save it?

Curious, I don't recall if you have solar... on your van, not hot weather Yeah that sucks loosing a battery that quick. I even ordered an alternator that doesn't put out quite as high of an output voltage as the last one. The Lifeline people said 14.6 wasn't too good of a voltage. New alternator puts out around 13.8. Now I just need to read the FICM voltage and hope its not too low.
BTW it sucked here today too. Not record breaking heat but it actually was throwing some light rain on the ground for a few minutes. Not like some places back east but pretty bad for this fat boy.

Re: Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuudge
IIRC, the water pump only operates if the switch is on and the sink valve is open. Why would yours be running with the valves closed?

If there's any air leak in the system it will kick on for a second every once in a while. Or like mine, every couple of seconds. Which reminds me, I really need to fix that.

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuudge
Man, I hate that sound when I'm out of reach of the switch. We turn ours on only when the sink is used, unless we forget of course.

MMMMMMMMFudge. Looks like my coach battery came back! A week on the trickle charger seems to have done the trick. We'll see how it goes...

Sink valve? Am I missing something?
I've got a pump switch and the pump vs city water switch near the tank. What's the sink valve?

Maybe he means faucet.
Anyway mine will run from time to time with the switch on and the faucet off. I also don't have any leaks. I was told its a pressure thing. Makes me want to add another lighted indicator
