Yippee!
I'm assuming when they're 'looking into offering a conversion', it is a full package with the galley, electrical, propane, fresh water & waste water tanks, etc., etc.? Since it's a low-riding vehicle, I'm not sure how a chassis-mounted generator would work on this but it is installed and works great on the Sprinter already, so we'll have to see. I can only imagine how cool the LB Jumbo Roof DRW will look with the EB50-type of package in it along with an extra pair of captain's chairs!
The Transit overseas can be had with 4x4, or all-wheel-drive (not sure), but Ford has already said that they have no plans to offer the factory-designed/installed system here in the US. Luckily, Quigley is looking into this at this time.

I'm sure they can, along with other companies such as Aluminess. I wouldn't be surprised if Aluminess is already developing products for the Transit, such as the bumpers, ladders, roof racks, etc. On another Transit thread on this forum, there is a picture that a user Photoshopped using a Transit picture with his own rendition of what an Aluminess-ed Transit could look like... and I love it! I do know that there are long list of things that SMB offers on their vehicles, such as the aluminum and fiberglass running boards, etc. I think the Transit would look sweet on the body-color fiberglass running boards!!

I figured SMB's existing 4x4 system could be retained on the cutaway cause of similar dimensions. The Fuso isn't my kind of vehicle but that type of market is a huge hit overseas and there is demand in the States for it. Hopefully, SMB can figure out how to improve on the Concept version and get it to market as quick as they can. The Mitsubishi Fuso is a great truck as I hear but guzzles fuel even with a small diesel!
