That got me excited too. But, that is an error on the SMB site. No manual trans option on the Promaster site.

As far as I know the diesel comes with an automated 6-speed manual. And I believe it's a single clutch rather than the more common dual-clutch used on some newer vehicles. The transmission works like a manual transmission but shifting is decided by computer unless driver selects gears manually. In either case the actual shifting is done by automated actuators.
I personally would prefer a true manual with a clutch pedal.
