Portable water / food storage containers

Came across these storage containers which look promising for people who don't want a built-in water tank. Just remember to secure them.

Those look to be very handy, come in a few different sizes and configurations too---thanks for the heads up!

Re: Portable water / food storage containers

I just received a couple of these & am testing them out with some bleach water to disinfect them before we head out on the road in a couple of weeks. So far no leaks & they look to be decently made.

Re: Portable water / food storage containers

I remember looking at those before I went up the bigger 5g LCI water cans instead. Aside from being cheaper (since I didn't have to buy a separate spout) the traditional can just fit my van better. But not many cans out there in this size, 3.5g, which might be a sweet spot for some people. It also looked like I couldn't get my hand all the way in to clean them; can you reach the bottom? 3" would be a little tight for my hammy hands I suspect.

Re: Portable water / food storage containers

Just tried & my skinny hands fit in the opening barely. I got within 4" or so of the bottom when my forearm got too wide & wouldn't go any further. I couldn't touch the bottom but could get a brush down there easily.
