Post subject: Anyone traveling Reno, NV to San Diego, CA or similar route?
Hi all,
Just bought a Classic Warn bumper and 8274 Warn winch for my project SMB. I'm planning on making a road trip from San Diego, CA to Reno, Nevada to pick it up....unless someone has plans for a similar route from Reno, NV to San Diego, CA and room for a bumper. I would be willing to pitch in for gas/time. Just thought I would put the word out. I traveled to Arizona for a custom rear bumper recently and the fuel cost killed me. Hopefully, this could be a win win. I could meet up to half way. Time frame would be within a month or two. The bumper is 75 3/8" long and ??150 lbs?? Give me a call (619) 917-7873. Thanks, Chris Baffico

Maybe put it on u-ship? I've used it for vehicles with fantastic prices and results. I can't see why why they couldn't toss that in the bed of a truck if towing something along the same route. Should be a lot less than driving both ways.

I got a really good offer $149.99 Reno to San Diego....It was retracted within 24 hours. I'm not sure what happened. Wish there was a way to contact that service provider to see if it was just a scheduling issue. Uship seems like a good avenue. Still looking for help. Thanks

Got another bid and accepted it. Should have my bumper at the end of the month. Thanks for the Uship idea. I'll give my feedback on the transaction. Might be a great way to transport items between members. -Chris

Paid $200 the rear bumper and $395 for the rear bumper. Just couldn't afford the Aluminess bumpers, but happy nonetheless.
