EB50 layout in the south to see?

Curious if anyone in the southeastern US (preferably north Georgia) would be willing to let the wife and I take a look at your SMB if you have an EB50 layout or similar. We have kids and this seems to be the safest layout for driving. We found one in Oregon that we like but that is a long drive to find out that it might not work. I don't mind driving a couple hours but there seem to be very few owners in this area. Thanks

Re: EB50 layout in the south to see?

There are definitely fewer of us in the southeast. I drove cross-country this summer, and didn't see a single SMB until hitting Yellowstone. Not sure if it helps you, but I have a 2014 Sprinter with a penthouse and forward-facing bench/bed in the back. It's not a standard floorplan since I also squeezed in a shower compartment. Not sure it would help you get a sense of the Ford, but there may be some options you want a feel for.

The van is back and forth between Tennessee and Georgia, and is parked in Atlanta right now. Message me if you're wanting a look.

Have you guys ever thought about renting to see exactly what you really need? Nothing better than a personal first hand adventure with the whole family on the road. I've talked to a lot of owners selling their Fords claiming they needed more room.

I would love to rent, but I don't think there is rental place in South east. We have class A to use, but we want something smaller & easier. I will look into rental

For a Ford SMB rental you'd probably have to travel but the Sprinter type RV's are becoming such a hit I would think you could find one back there. I've kept a list of some of the places out here. I don't know prices but probably expensive. Still to make that high dollar mistake when purchasing the wrong RV, the cost of a rental might dwarf the cost of buying and selling a new vehicle.

Van and sprinter rentals, some are links to links or rental companies:

Howbout driving up to Asheville first weekend in October for Expi East. You could see a few promised SMB's and lots of other possibilities too.

Another Sprinter here. We live in North Georgia (Jasper). See my album for pics. I am not sure if you are looking at a RB50 for the 4x4 possibility, but the 2015 Sprinter will have an optional 4x4 as well.

We are also tentatively planning to head to Asheville as well.

We are thinking about going to Asheville also. Thank you guys.
Yep we are in Gainesville/Cumming area so Jasper is pretty close in the big picture.

I'm in Jacksonville FL, maybe to much of a drive for you to take a look. Anyway it is for sale and there is a sale pending but if you are in the area anytime soon you are welcome to take a look at it. Check out my ad or my gallery.
