How much should I ask for my SMB????

Hey there, i'm probably going to sell my beloved van soon...and I wanted to get ya'lls input on a fair asking price - here are the deets on my van:

2000 Ford RB, E350 7.3L powerstroke diesel, quigley 4x4, about 130,000 miles. It has the sportsmobile RB50 layout, and the manual lift penthouse top. Electric fridge, 2 burner propane stove, suburban propane heater, 90W solar panel (not mounted you have to put it outside the van but could be easily mounted) hot water heater for 10 gallon freshwater tank, REUNEL front and rear bumper with warn winch and high lift jack / off road kit, 54 gallon diesel fuel auxillary flow tank, both captain chairs are swivel

its in decent shape - not perfect, as i lived in it for a while, some little things on the interior that need fixing, adding up to about $500-700 at most. The cruise control is broken...that's about a 500 dollar fix also.

The body is in great shape, no rust, no accidents. I'm adding a few pictures but they were taken when the van was a lot newer.

Anyways i was thinking of asking around $35,000?

I don't think you would have any problem selling it for $35K. Fix the few things it may need and net another $4K or more.

But note the caveat in the OP's post: "I'm adding a few pictures but they were taken when the van was a lot newer."

Current pictures would go a long way to helping with valuation, especially since the van was used as a full-time dwelling (apparently) for a while.

I wouldn't under estimate the value of the 7.3. VERY desirable.

I'd start at $45000 if it was mine. They don't make these any more.

Isn't there a thread a few down from this talking about how few 7.3s there are on the market. Supply and demand my friend.

Best of luck.

Are you getting another camper or just selling for the extra bread?

Re: How much should I ask for my SMB????

I will post some current pictures. So here are the things that need fixed:

Front drivers side wheel well missing (the black thing)
needs new drivers side sun visor
needs new passenger side mirror
one cabinet needs a new "face"
Needs new faucet - the water system works fine but you have to use the water on/off pump to turn it on, the faucet handles don't control water flow anymore

I'm going to work on posting some pics, then would you guys mind replying again with value?

Re: How much should I ask for my SMB????

okay - i'm posting pics of the van but also close ups of the imperfections - really just a bunch of little stuff, that make it less than mint, but for a 2000 van i think its pretty darn clean. it's actually got only 125,00 miles on it.

i also should mention i added the swiss army knife cabinet after i bought it - one of the doors to it has cosmetic blemish and needs to be replaced (for cosmetic reasons). that cabinet cost $700 to install
