1995 FORD AMBULANCE 4X4

My son and I just bought a 1995 Ford E350 ambulance with Quigly 4x4 and 7.3 engine. only 70M origional miles. My son is a professional Extream Outdoors Guide. He plans to convert this rig into a place to live while he is on an adventure and a place to keep his gear. Any suggestions on how to convert this rig?

Re: 1995 FORD AMBULANCE 4X4

70M is pretty good, even for a 7.3L

I would try to keep it as light as possible, assuming it's a steel box ambulance- the box is going to be super heavy.

Also if you leave the colors/stickers you're going to have people flagging you down for help...

Thanks. Good news is it has already been re-painted. Still has all of the lights.

Just remember they idle those quite a bit while onsite and on standby at offsite locations.

Start reading over at Expo for Ambuvan ideas. Lots of conversions over there.
