RV propane finder

I'm on the road and not having much luck with Google. I'm trying to find a place to fill my propane. I know a lot of bigger RV parks etc. will fill them, U-haul places, etc. but I'm wondering if any one of the phone apps we commonly use will list propane? I searched for a propane finder app but no luck. It seems like a good idea to me though. Of course I need someone that will fill a fixed RV (SMB) propane tank, not a BBQ tank swap place.

Thanks

Re: RV propane finder

I've got no suggestions on a way to find any and all....

But out here many tool rental places fill propane as well.. Volvo Rents, Sunbelt Rentals, stuff like that.

Re: RV propane finder

Also places that rent large generators like Cat places usually have propane. Out here many food marts have it and you can always find out where the taco trucks get theirs.

Re: RV propane finder

Thanks guys. I found an RV park or two that can help, but nothing close. Hopefully I'll make it til tomorrow. No biggie if not.

Re: RV propane finder

We spent time in quite a few casino parking lots and noticed several had propane for sale at the associated gas stations, probably due to the large number of RV's passing through........

Re: RV propane finder

We use the Allstays Camp & RV app. It has a filter to show LP facilities near you.

Re: RV propane finder

Around here Southern States (farm supply) will fill an RV tank. You can find the closest store on their web page.
