Fuel tank for a 2005 E350

I am in the process of converting my 2005 E350 to a 4x4. Having a hard time finding someone to help me weld the fuel tank.I need to make it shorter. Does anyone know if there is an aftermarket fuel tank avialabler for this?

Not sure about smaller but many of us have the Transferflow. They are out of Chico, CA.

Thanks for the tip, called them. They no longer make a tank for the E-350.

I know Quigley has to cut theirs down to 31 gallons to get the transfer case in and they might be willing to sell you one. It's worth a call.

It is never recommended that you weld on a tank that has held fuel.

Quadvan just put a Trans-flow 46 in my 09. Are you sure they don't make them anymore?

Also, I once had a custom tank built for a Jeep Wagoneer by a company called Aero-Tanks, in CA.

Re: Fuel tank for a 2005 E350

I checked that at the SEMA and as a private you can not buy them anymore, an installer can...

Must be linked to legal or emissions issues

Re: Fuel tank for a 2005 E350

I have a 2005 E350 4x4 conversion from http://www.advanced4x4vans.com/ and they cut down my tank to fit the trans case. You can call them and see what they can offer you...

They do make them, but only for QuadVan and Sportsmobile. Not even Quigley gets them anymore.
