Homebrew Gots some new shoes!!

Well I went out to price some 285's tires so when I decide to do the lift and the shop owner said he had these in stock and would give me a smoking deal since he had them in stock already. So we talked for a bit and I went ahead and bought these......They are KMC Addicts 20x8.5, black w/machined spokes and a set of street tires!

While I was there getting the tires installed, a guy pulled in and was looking for a set of tires for his E350. He ended up buying my stock rims, tires and hubcaps with only 1,800 miles on them.....and in the end I got my rims and tires for an AWESOME price!

These tires are temporary until I figure what I wanna do about a lift......

BTW....I am a mexican...rollin on "twankies" LOL

So then, who makes 33" tall tires for a 20" bling, bling rim? Not BF Goodrich I hope.

You right on those pricey twenty's! They are about 37.4% higher than a 16" and they have less rubber. What's with that!

I have not used BFG tires ever since I lost 5 of them to seperations but that's another thread for another time so then I don't need no links to any BFG tires.

Looks like the Nitto Terra Grapplers are a little less than the popular BGF AT T/A KOs. The Nitto Terra Grapplers seems to be the 2nd tire of choise here on SMB Forum.

Re: Homebrew Gots some new shoes!!

I had 35x12.5-20's Toyo Open Country's on my Super Duty and was impressed with them. I will look into the OC's as well as the BFG's when I decide to buy tires.

I have always had good luck with bfg's??? Maybe I'm just not as aggressive off road as a lot of the SMBers here? This will be my first lifted 2wd vehicle and I look forward to it!!!!
