Yukon locking hubs

Blew up one of my Warren locking hubs and was recommended to check out the Yukon hubs. The guy at the drive gear shop said he thinks there stronger than the Warren hub. Any one have any experience with the Yukon hubs?

Re: Yukon locking hubs

The Yukon hubs I have experience with are very nice and much better than Warn Premium Hubs (they are pretty cheesy these days, not like they once were). The Yukon's are normally locked, meaning if they fail they lock.

How did you break the Warn?

Re: Yukon locking hubs

I was on steep hill when I engaged the hub and don't think it fully engaged before I drove it from being stuck. Made a really loud crunch noise, really shredded itself, failed in the open position, no drive to it.
Installed the Yukon hubs, they are a lot beefier than the Warren hubs in my opinion, and I like that they do not stick out as much.

Re: Yukon locking hubs

I've bought them for a D44 but not the D60 - what did they cost?
