Quigley 4x4 Conversion...added value?

Hi, new to the forum, so forgive me if I'm in the wrong section or if this post should be 'relocated'.

I am looking at an '06 GMC 3500 Savannah 'extended' body with a Quigley 4x conversion, other than that it is completely base stock cargo model.

My question is how much is the Quigley worth? Asking price is about $7K higher than blue book value; seems a little steep for added four-wheel drive. I can build out the interior myself, but don't have the shop resources for the mechanical conversion.

Any advice is appreciated. Looks like a great forum for my new 'project', glad I found this site.

Regards,

B.A.D

Re: Quigley 4x4 Conversion...added value?

$7k seems pretty reasonable for an added value amount for the conversion. The cost to have it done is at least twice that from just about anyone, so depending on if there are any other features and how long ago the conversion was done it could actually be a pretty good deal.
