Salem Kroger rotor replacement
I'm having to replace the rotors on my 2001 Ford van with a 2003 Salem Kroger conversion, which added basically a Ford F350 2003 front end.
The problem, similar to what Quigley folks had, was that the van is 8x165 but the rotors that fit have to be 8x170. Salem Kroger used I guess Ford OEM rotors drilled with the 8x170 bolt pattern. I'm trying to help my mechanic who's doing the brake find a replacement, but I'm guessing there still isn't one, and I'll have to find a machinist or fabricator to drill some.
So, my first question is whether anyone knows of a source for them, pre-drilled?
Or is there an entire brake conversion that could fit without much modification (I suspect without other major changes it's a no, but ya never know)?
Can anyone recommend a machine shop in the Bay Area to do it? I know lots of antique car guys have to do this sort of thing, and fabricators, but many machine shops won't touch brake and wheel mods.
Finally, anyone know what the Quigley 8x170s were and the sizes for that era? They don't seem to know what would fit the S-K, which is understandable. I've got a call in to Whitefeather to see if they can sort it.

Re: Salem Kroger rotor replacement
It's a slide-off rotor isn't it?
I think you can just use the '99-'04 DRW front rotor (dually's use a hat-adapter which gets reused for rotor replacement) and I think the base bolt pattern is 8x6.5. Or maybe the holes are just oversized. Anyways I seem to think that's the rotor they used. If you slide your off, you could probably just match it at the parts counter. Worst case just oval out the 8x170 holes until they fit. The rotor is located by the hub anyways.

Re: Salem Kroger rotor replacement
I had the same problem and have a Salem Kroger conversion. I bought the rotors from a Ford dealer and took them and the old rotors to a mmachine shop to have them drilled. I think it cost me $100.

Re: Salem Kroger rotor replacement
The bad news is that everything we looked at in parts wouldn't work without drilling.
The good news is that Whitefeather has the templates and whatnot in order to drill 'em, which they'll have done. Maybe not as cheap as getting someone here to do it, but lots of shops were balking at it. And I'd have to pull the rotor for them to look at to decide. Craig at Whitefeather is just gonna ship 'em, so easier.
BTW, one of the willing shops to do it here in the Bay Area is Moose Metal in Concord. I buy metal from them regularly; really nice folks. And Ale Industries a couple blocks away is open on certain eves for beer tasting at their brewery there, so time the visits accordingly (just behind MoreBeer). And there's a CostCo there, and a good welding and gas shop right nearby (Atlas is what I know them by, but I think someone bought 'em and changed the name). And food? well ping me. Love Monument in Concord.

Stock Ford F-Series rotors (since 1999) are 8x170. That is why you have 8x170 on the F350 front axle. Any rotor for that (SRW) application should work. Only the vans kept the 8x6.5" bolt pattern.

Re: Salem Kroger rotor replacement
You may know this already, as it's been posted. I ordered new front rotors and hawk pads for all 4 from frozen rotors(slotted), they re drilled them to 8X6.5, work great.
