Contacting Agile Offroad

I learned about Agile Offroad's RIP system for Quigley vans about 3 weeks ago (at the same time I learned I needed new shocks). At the time I had 6 weeks of lead time ahead of my next adventure to the Utah desert. I am really excited about the improvements promised by the RIP system since I experience most of the issues it claims to resolve. Problem is that I am now on my third week of calling and emailing Agile with no response. I hate the idea of putting "normal" shocks on VanDamn when there's a highly customized solution available just for Quigleys, but I can't delay the trip and I need to get something installed before I leave.

Does anyone know if they're still in business? I'm 1200 miles away so driving by the shop isn't an option.

If I can't get ahold of Agile, or can't get the RIP system in time for my trip, what other recommendations do folks have for new/upgraded shocks for my 2003 Quigley e350 7.3L van?

Re: Contacting Agile Offroad

I think I just found my answer in a different thread. Things might just be too busy down there to get an RIP system to me in time for my trip. Still looking for other shock/suspension upgrade recommendations for my 2003 e350 7.3L Quigley.

I apologize for not being able to respond to you, I have just been too busy. Poor excuse, but true.

We are out of inventory on springs and they are on back order so we cannot supply RIP Kits at this time.

I will get back to everyone when inventory is available and I get caught up.

Don't know what else to do...

Re: Contacting Agile Offroad

VanDamm,

Here is a post for what I installed and a link to the topic. Worth reading. I think they are better than what was on the van. May not bottom out as much and a little smoother on the road also.

For what it's worth, I ordered new Bilsteins this week for my 2008 Quigley. They should be here Friday and I hope to get them installed Monday or Tuesday. I will try to update, hopefully with a good review. I ordered them from 4 Wheel Parts.

Front 24-186674 $76.99 each
Rear 33-176840 $119.00 each

The rear are actually called struts, so maybe that's why they cost more. Seems like the price varies quite a bit from one online dealer to the other, but they had these in stock and we are getting ready to head out for a month or so and wanted the new shocks.

Quigley verified these numbers for me and had them in stock also, but their price was considerably higher. I am tempted to install them, but my Ford dealer said he would be happy to do it for the labor and they do have nice lifts and all the tools. My knuckles feel better already. I will save the skin for rock climbing on our trip.
