OPTIMA Batteries SEMA 2015 Build

We've been working with Optima all year on the details of this build and I'm happy to say that it has begun! We got the van Friday and went into full attack mode. This van will be used as a mobile command post for their street car challenge series all cross the country and will debut in their booth at SEMA this year. I'll post pics as we progress.

Happy to be working with some great vendors on this project.

Pile of parts, not all of it though

Day1 progress

Re: OPTIMA Batteries SEMA 2015 Build

Cool! Please tell the Optima guys that some of us, well me, are interested in ditching the heavy true deep cycle slow charging batteries for house batteries and are interested in a lighter fast charging (alternator and/or solar) lower AHr capacity but still able to power a 4 AHr 100% duty cycle frig and a 4 AHr 50% duty cycle furnace (Winters only) house batteries. If anyone can design or has designed such a battery, it would be the forward thinking Optima battery company.

Progress pics

Outside and headed to exhaust. These are my wheels for V7, we're still waiting for the correct wheels & the bumpers. Supposed to be here yesterday, didn't happen! Hopefully tomorrow, fingers crossed. We still have a few things to knock out before we're ready for them anyway.
